About Bridgend Writers' Circle

Bridgend Writers' Circle

meets monthly at

The Old Library, Carnegie House

Wyndham Street, Bridgend, CF31 1EF.

Meetings are held on the First Thursday of each month, and start at 7:15pm

Anyone interested in creative writing of any kind is encouraged to come along to a meeting to try us out.

Membership is £12 per year, but 'trial' members are not expected to pay at their first or second meeting.

The circle does not provide tuition, but the various activities are designed to provide writers at all levels with stimulation.

The Chairman, Secretary, or other members can often point you towards formal courses.

When new courses, opportunities and writer’s activities crop up, they are circulated to members by e-mail.

As well as the programme and other activities, it is usually worth talking to existing members who share your interests.

BWC was formed in 1975 (History), and encourages members to get involved.

We have a Constitution and Officers, but formalities are kept to a minimum.
